Let’s raise our glass/sippy cup to 2015!
Here’s hoping this card finds you and your loved ones well! This year has been a blur. Time flies when you’re having fun, right? Let’s go with that! We are staying SUPER busy, so here’s the annual update…
Tessa Lee, our flower child, is growing like CRAZY! Now, 17 months old, she is 5 lbs. less than Ruthie. Her cute little belly precedes her everywhere she goes. She’s began using words and waddles around from place to place. She decided to be a late bloomer when it came to teeth and has JUST sprouted her first 4 in the last week. Slightly difficult since she has refused baby food since about 11 months. She loves books and socks and pancakes and taking whatever makes her sister upset. Crazy how you don’t have to teach your children to be ornery!
Ruthie May, is, hands down, the life of the party around here. She is so sharp! We are planning to start preschool next year with her. She has a stellar memory, to our demise, most of the time, and within the last month, she is 90% potty trained. THANK YOU JESUS! We are more into princesses and Barbies than EVER before! Everything is “SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL” or “WONDERFUL!” or “disgusting!” Trying covering that one up when she yells it out in a restaurant… awesome. She is our fireball and keeps us on our toes. If you have a few minutes, hop onto my blog and watch my series, “Vlogging with Ruthie.” That whole, “leaving the room to laugh after disciplining” happens MOST of the time with Ruthie.
Nathan is really continuing the growing process at Wineinger & Sons. They add new things every year! This year, with the return of his brother, Jake, from the Marines, they took over 2/3 of the water hauling business in the Peoria area. This means they fill up wells, pools, water tanks out in the country, really anything that needs hundreds/thousands of gallons of water. They are also in the middle of building a house to sell in the spring… something to keep them busy if/when the snow doesn’t fall this winter. He also finished out a great season as the JV Football coach at Princeville again. Good group of boys. The man of many hats…
I’m still Athletic Secretary at Dunlap High School. I love the kids. They are why I do what I do. I have also been helping out with the youth at Church. We had an amazing trip to Guatemala this summer. I have traveled lots before, but love to see young people get hit by the travelers’ bug. I see lots of international trips in their future. I’m still BLOGGING like crazy! www.wildgingerblog.com Love every second of it. I have also been busy as a Mary Kay Consultant and with LOTS of print design projects! Closer to my goal of being a Stay at home Mom!!
As a family, we had a pretty quiet summer. Over Thanksgiving, we traveled to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic (see the Christmas Card ☺) which was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. So many memories made! When I was making the Christmas card, my heart was hurting, because my babies aren’t babies anymore. CRAZY! Guess I’ll have to work on that. ☺
I will be posting the “Best of 2015” letter & photo album on my blog, so make sure to swing by and check out the lovely pictures! And, as always, I end this CRAZY letter with much love and Christmas wishes to you and yours. May you have days filled with love, joy, family, fun and so much more this coming 2016!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
Love, Nate, Lindsay, Rue & Tes
