A disaster has occurred! The other day I had to wake up early, and of course I hadn’t washed out my coffee mug from the day before, so I took it into the bathroom to wash it (the communal kitchen is downstairs and is, uh, communal, so I avoid it as much as possible) AND THEN I DROPPED IT. My clumsy morning hands betrayed me! Look at this poor thing.
Luckily your head is still in place. My To Do list now includes “buy superglue” but honestly I don’t know where that would be or how I’ll know how to identify it. The easy answer is “ask someone for help” but….that’s never been my first response to a crisis.
*sigh*
What else? Life has been crazy on this side of the Atlantic! I’ve finished my Greek classes (Αλλἀ μπορὠ να μιλησὠ με τους ανθρώπους; Δεν ξἑρω!) and my brain is so excited to have a break! The trick will be convincing my brain that this wasn’t some temporary lesson to go in one ear and out the other (like most of my educational history), but is actually a useful skill that I ought to use every day! BLERGH just saying that makes me tired again.
I’m also receiving a lot of visitors, but I cannot help but notice that none of them are YOU. What happened to the last week of March, huh? Unless you are planning on surprising me (which would not be good – I don’t like big surprises!), I have to assume you are not coming. That is unacceptable! I already know what we will do – go to a Greek island! There we will wander beaches, chat with some locals, and eat a lot of delicious food! We can probably also find some super cute little dresses for Ruthie and Tessa.
No, but really, I know your life is also chaotic! Hopefully a little less so, now that Ashley and Daniel’s wedding is over. Just know that if things ever get too overwhelming…I know of a super cool place you can escape to!
Love,
Tricia
P.S. I saw that you won Mary Kay Woman of the Week (I don’t remember the actual title). CONGRATULATIONS you are an entrepreneurial superstar!!
