Highlights (Man, this was an AWESOME full week!):

  • Our spontaneous swim date with TayTay and Ashes to beat the heat.
  • An amazing meeting/introduction to MANY wonderful women in Bloomington
  • Play date with Baelyn & Megan.
  • Wineinger & Son’s sponsored the Stock Truck pulls at the Heart of Illinois Fair…LOTS of safety green!
  • the Manning Wedding festivities

  • Got shots and meds for Guatemala
  • Lots of fun time with Rue & Tessa Bear

Goals for this Week:

  • Pack for Guatemala.
  • Praying. Praying…and um…Praying.
  • This is my last week at home so LOTS of cuddles
  • Get the house back in order for the start of the school year

Today’s Truthful Tuesday is about my Tessa Lee…

I wrote in your journal last year the morning before we headed to the hospital.  So thrilled and anxious to meet you. Through all of the entries I have written thus far, I made these promises to you:

  • That even though you may not like me, I will love you forever, no matter!
  • That for as much as Dad and I love you, there is Someone that loves you more and we pray you learn about Jesus in a REAL and personal way.
  • You were purposefully knitted together in my womb set apart for something special that God has set.
  • In His time, you will discover and seek that something special.
  • I will do ANYTHING I can to give you the world.
  • I have seen your heart for 9 months longer than I’ve seen your face, and you are MY Tessa Bear…well, and your Daddy’s, and we take protecting that precious heart very seriously.

Hope you had a Wondrous Birthday, Tessa Lee.
God made me you & Rue’s mommy, and I don’t take that task lightly.  Love you my sweets.

This Week in Review #29 —

I’m kind of late, because I’ve been enjoying my day with the girls…It’s Tessa’s birthday today!  She is ONE!  WHAT?!  I’ll post tomorrow.  She’s just so dang cute.

Brittany came up with this idea DIY Fruit pizzas.  Then the fruit was in the Flag platter.

Later, I was reminded it was, “LAND of the free, HOME of the brave.”  Well, at least it looks cool.  🙂

We had a Minute to Win It: Red, White & BOOM!  When your kids are too small to play games, let the adults play!  It’s WAAAAAY more funny!

  • Fresh Eggs sign FINISHED!
  • Put together and had a BLAST for putting on the girls’ birthday party!

Goals For this Week:

  • Get my shots for traveling.
  • Get invites out for the girls joint birthday party.
  • Make some major decisions for the future….some major praying involved.
  • Pack for Guatemala.
