I’m in the process of making TONS ‘o Ponyas! A Ponya is just the Northwest Afican word for REALLY basic skirt. I’m making some for our trip to Guatemala. (Is that how you spell ponya?? hmmm..)
As much as the rain has really been a damper on the summer (EVERY pun intended…), it’s made my flowers go crazy, and I LOVE IT!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY, NATHAN! We got Nathan is first real pair of boots this week. His brother is wearing them in for him because Nathan couldn’t event get his foot in. BUT AREN’T THEY WONDERFUL!?
Finally, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all these wonderful Men!
Yes, I understand that three of these men are not even fathers yet, but they are father figures to my girls.
God,
I pray a prayer of endurance and thanksgiving over and over for the roles these men play in my girls’ and family’s life. I pray they seek You in the BIG and the little, because they are leaders both physically AND spiritually, and I trust them all with my life and the life of my family. AMEN
God didn’t give you this heavy responsibility to carry alone. I love you!
