Truthful Tuesday #6 — I’m Going to be 29!
…and it’s my birthday week!
What is TT you ask?! I created Truthful Tuesday to be an awesome link up party where people would come and link up feeling free to share their heart…to admit that they’re not perfect…that living life is messy and I’ve embraced it.
{Nathan always continues to remind me how clean and tidy the house was the duration of time I was in TX–I’m sure that I contribute significantly to the messy factor.}

It’s Truthful Tuesday — I’m Gonna be 29!
Yeah. You heard me. I just told you my age. And the truth is…BRING IT ON THIRTY! I will fight you and I will win. I will confess though, that I had to stop and do the math, because I honestly didn’t remember which age I was turning.
I love that I share my birthday with my Grandma “Noni” Leona Davis. We have pictures through the years (of course I can’t find one) of having cake with strawberries. I’m pretty sure that I like strawberries, but they’re not my favorite, but I will always eat them because THAT is what I share with Gma Noni. I’ll make sure I find a good picture of us and post it before Friday. We are going to celebrate with her on Sunday. She will be a glowing 85!

When I turned 13, I had a birthday party, and the most memorable gift I received…was a jar of Mayo. I remember being extremely excited. I almost saved the jar when we were finished with it months later, by my sensible mother gave me the look and we threw it away.
A dream of mine is for someone to actually pull a “May Day” on me on my birthday. May 1st is the most unappreciated holiday. You’d think flower shops would be all over that one…
