Yay for the #ScarfExchange2015!! I’m pretty excited about today.
This year was the first time I participated in a Scarf Exchange or ANY kind of blog exchange, and I LOVED IT! Thanks to Courtney, Liz & Whitney for hosting/coordination.
The way it works:
- We say we want to be a part of it.
- We get an email of who we are buying for.
- We receive an email asking for our address and info from who will be buying for us.
- We go out shopping and pick out the PERFECT scarf and mail it to our designated person.
- We MAGICALLY receive a package with a scarf bought just for us!
IT’S AMAZING! It’s like Christmas in fall! I bought for Beth @ A Year as a Missionary. {Don’t you just love her Magnolia Rein Scarf!} That color is better than I imagined with her dark hair!
The lovely Courtney @ A+ Life got to pick a scarf out for me and she read me like a redheaded book!
The advice I gave her: #1 I live in the Midwest so I need a scarf with a purpose. #2 I do bold/statement scarves. #3 NO WHITE- for the sake of children. {Ruthie already got apple juice on this one!}
SHE NAILED IT!
Why I love this scarf:
- The COLOR! Emerald green with red(ish) hair is perfect-o!
- It gives body to my flat hair because of how my hair lays when I wear the scarf.
- It’s sooooo warm. And weather has turned here so necessary.
- It matches TONS of clothing I have because this IS the go-to color for my hair color!
Thanks, Courtney! {Check out Courtney’s sweet blog and her two precious little ladies on her blog, A + Life!}
