- I am not wearing GREEN today. **Please, for all that is good and wonderful, don’t pinch me!** But babysitter just sent me a pic of Tess. Holy Cute Kid! (Do you see Ruthie’s photo bomb?! hahahahah!!!!)
- I know this may be hard to believe…but I am shy when it comes to important people… Hard to believe. I know…let me explain.I did Hearts @ Home this weekend… AMAZING! I love it. I helped a friend do some crowd control for Lysa TerKeurst. Ya know, on WCIC, “ Hi! I’m Lysa TerKeurst with Proverbs 31 Ministries…” Now, I URGE you to listen to that wonderful woman speak! We are kindred spirits…I’m telling you! Mind blown…*poof.* Well, I was guiding her line for autographs and helping where I could and there got to be a break in the crowd and the line was gone. I was planning to buy a book anyway, but with some INTENSE encouragement/slight pushing, I went and said hello and got my book signed and a pic taken…not a good pick, but that’s ok. DON’T CARE! She’s awesome. See…
I don’t want to be apart of a fad or giddy group, but I still wanted to somehow reassure her that she is directing people to God and making a huge impact! So all in all, I looked like a star struck, shy, studdery mess…and she looked awesome and said sweet things about my scarf. - I have a coffee cup sitting in my office from last week and I have been using Styrofoam because I don’t want to wash it. (No, I will not gross you out with a picture. When it molds, I’ll clean it.)
- There is this sweet and wonderful girl that has been in my life for 13 of the greatest years. And God let us coincidently be at the H@H conference together this weekend. I went to the conference excited to be kid-free & along, but my perspective totally changed when I found out Megan was going as well. God had different plans for my weekend and I am sooo glad.
- I just fell asleep and this very computer for 5 minutes a few minutes ago then almost spilled my coffee on the beloved “wake-up jump.”
