This week’s edition of Truthful Tuesday (on Wednesday) is …*dun, dun, DAA!*
IN MY CAR
Now, I am not sure if I am proud or ashamed of this, but my car can get FULL! Some may consider it dirty/cluttered/crowded, but I justify the STUFF for these reasons:
- I can change diapers and feed Tes & Rue out of that car anytime.
- I can clothe Nathan for a softball game AND create a fun blanket of activities for a softball game for ages 3 and under…beverages, food, fun and toys!
- I have a change of shoes for everyone for every season before and after Labor & Memorial Day.
- I have enough 1/2 full water bottles, fruit snacks, puffs, etc. if I’m ever stranded, according to Bear Grylls, the girls and I could last at least 3 months…longer if I’m by myself.
- I can clothe anyone homeless (boxes to take to Goodwill since 1st week in May).
- If under attack, I can pelt numerous mini muffins turned rocks at said attackers. That would surely stop them.
This last weekend, I committed to cleaning my car…and this is where it may have changed to slight shame. The amount of stuff combined with the array of sippy cups (some still including original content *FOUL*), and that one completely rotted apple (thank heavens) in a ziplock bag made cleaning my car an ultimate (much needed) commitment of my time.
So here it is…
The contents of my car when I cleaned it… crazy, isn’t it. When Ruthie got up from her nap, she saw one of the doors was open. *I was letting the Febreeze dry.* She walked up, and said, “Wow, mom…Beautiful! Where my sparkle shoes?” Then, she asked if she could play in it. I laughed, took the keys out of the ignition and said, “Sure, girlfriend. Have at it. Just take off your shoes.”
Does anyone else’s car get that messy?
HAVE A GREAT WEEK! I’ll be zipping around in my clean car! We have a new rule…
“What goes in must come out!”
